I feel bored… I mean, I like doing nothing all day, but it’s hard! I’d like to quote Jerry Seinfeld if I may:
“Doing nothing is not as easy as it looks! You have to be careful, because the idea of doing anything which could easily lead to doing something that would cut in to your nothing… would force me to drop everything”!
I was watching the Arsenal x M’Brough match and I realized that I lost the whole game! I started watching at 87′… Yeah, couldn’t watch the whole thing… Couldn’t watch it. Not even 10 minutes. To hell with England! Anyway.. doing nothing is all fun and games until someone tells me I should be doing something. I hate to say, but I’m as lazy as 90′s punk kids who liked to write music about being lazy.
Here’s what I don’t understand about boredom: how come when you’re bored and someone asks you to do something you think twice? Really! What’s in the human mind that actually doesn’t let us make obvious choices when you’re bored?
- Hey, Matt! A car full of money just crashed into a newspaper stand and there’s money flying all over the place, man!
- Oh… I see. Well, uhm… So, do I… like… have to come?
It’s like you’re sleeping, having an awesome dream, and doesn’t want to be waken up! Even if it means to live a little bit of that dream while awake! It’s just too much work…
